After Tim Farron took the lead as an MP who believes that Ofcom have failed to ensure clarity and transparency in the charges for broadband services in the UK, by backing the wispa Limited ‘upto’ charges for ‘upto’ broadband campaign, three more MPs have declared their support despite Ofcom doing their level best to ignore over 600 emails sent by consumers.

Helen Goodman (MP Bishop Aukland) was asked via Twitter whether she supported the ‘upto’ campaign to pressure the failing regulator Ofcom to force fairer pricing, and delivery recommendations for consumers, her answer was an emphatic YES!

Andrew Gwynne says yes to a fairer deal for consumers

Andrew Gwynne (MP Denton and Reddish and Shadow Health Minister) was asked the same question as Helen Goodman, and his response was the same (although maybe slightly less emphatic!)

If your MP has not already pledged their support to pressuring a failing regulator to make sure that you are treated fairly and openly when you are buying broadband from your ISP, you probably want to ask them why not.

If you want to know how to contact your MP, drop us a line – we’ll point you in the right direction
