welsh_government_logoSo, the new form is out – and anyone who is unable to achieve 2Mbps or better now qualifies for the grant scheme (previously it was a lowly 512Kbps).

That’s the good news (see elsewhere on this site and the internet for what we think about this announcement!).

The less good news is that the Welsh Government (in their infinite wisdom) have not made their form editable in your PDF reader – you MUST print it and then complete it by hand.

We decided that as we were all about making broadband easier that we would sort that out – so you can get an editable version HERE.

Now when you open your form in your favourite PDF reader you will find that you can click on the squares that need a tick – and you can fill out the text by simply clicking in the right area and typing using your keyboard.

We have completed the form both ways and estimate that this will reduce the completion time by around 80% (and save an awful lot of wrist ache!).  We do not know why the form was released without enabling this in the first place, but then maybe…well…{COMMENT DELETED}

It’s exactly the same form that they released – we have just made it editable so that you don’t have to print it first…
